Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project is a culmination of “Founder and Brettanomyces Guru” Chad Yakobson’s open source master’s research program, The Brettanomyces Project. Our progressive brewery specializes in blending science and art to create and distribute unique barrel aged beers. Just as a singular piece of wood (or “stave”) makes a barrel, Crooked Stave spurs collaboration and innovation by encouraging the sharing of ideas in an open community. Founded in 2010, we have recently expanded to add a taproom in Fort Collins. We are excited to be home and share our passion for extraordinary beers.
