Nature's Own
Categories & Promotions
We are a science and nature shop specializing in minerals and fossils, gemstone jewelry, stone home décor, and educational toys. From break-your-own geodes to carved onyx dinnerware, our store is filled with endless treasures for nature-lovers of all ages. Some of our most popular items include amethyst geodes, stone vases, and our natural Himalayan salt lamps. We also carry educational activities for kids including STEM kits and teaching tools, puzzles, art kits, and unique stuffed animals.
Nature’s Own was founded by geologist and environmentalist Roy Young. Our mission is to share a love of science while supporting environmental conservation. Roy opened his first mineral gift shop in Nederland, Colorado in 1986, with our Fort Collins location following in 1992. We donate a portion of each purchase to support environmental conservation non-profits like Idea Wild, the Sierra Club, and many more. Our geology gift shops allow us to share our impressive collections with our communities, and let you bring a piece of the Earth’s geological history home with you! Visit our shop located in the Historic Linden Hotel building, or shop our new website at naturesown.com.
