Parking is easy and convenient in downtown. Find a space in one of the parking structures or on street, park the car, and spend the rest of your time on foot exploring the area.

Going just a little further than you want to walk? Grab a Spin e-bike or e-scooter to get from here to there. Download the Spin app, enter payment info, find a scooter or bike, and start your ride! Don't worry, there are options if you don't have a smartphone or credit card.

Transfort Bus

Transfort provides exceptional, customer-focused service that meets our community’s present and future transit needs. Transfort is all about easy, modern transit – so take a look a the schedule and hop on the bus. The Downtown Transit Center is conveniently located in the downtown, so you can walk or bike to the bus.

MAX Bus Rapid Transit

MAX Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) serves major activity and employment centers throughout our community including downtwn, midtown, and CSU. MAX links with other Transfort bus routes, Park-n-Rides, the City’s bicycle/pedestrian trail system, and other local and regional transit routes to provide seamless service for passengers. MAX follows a dedicated transit-only guideway and mixed-traffic streets between the Downtown Transit Center and the South Transit Center. It is served by 12 stations and stops.

Join the Fort Collins Municipal Railway Society (FCMRS) on summer weekend afternoons and holidays for a trip on Birney Car 21! Each 3-mile round trip between downtown and City Park along Mountain Ave takes about 30 minutes. The FCMRS is an all-volunteer organization working with the City of Fort Collins to provide a heritage streetcar experience. Board the trolley at Howes Street and Mountain Avenue to take a historic trip!
