In 2015, the plaza was reimagined through a meticulous renovation project that earned international recognition and enhanced the space with interactive elements, including a state-of-the-art performance stage, a kid-and-dog-friendly splash pad, a communal fireplace and featured locations for rotating public art installations.

Poudre River Whitewater Park

The Poudre River Whitewater Park opened in 2019 and provides safe access to the river for kayakers and tubers to enjoy the river. Grab your kayak and play in the water, or sit on the bank and watch the action! The Poudre River is Colorado’s only designated ‘Wild and Scenic River”, and it provides many opportunities for recreation in and around the water. The possibilities are endless!
