Clothes Pony & Dandelion Toys Is A Large, Eambling, Eclectic Toy Store In Downtown Fort Collins.

We are Jenny and Becca, sisters and owners of Clothes Pony & Dandelion Toys. We love kids. The most fun thing about owning Clothes Pony is meeting the beautiful, entertaining, endlessly fascinating babies and children who come to play and shop. We love getting down on the floor in the play area and reading books with our little customers. We love to laugh. We also love Broadway show tunes and apologize in advance if you come to the store and catch us belting out; “Surrey With the Fringe On Top”.

As sisters we had long dreamed of living in the same town, raising our kids together and perhaps working together. But for much of our adult lives we’d lived far away from each other, kept apart by family and careers. In 2001, Becca and her family moved from Denver to Fort Collins where Jenny was living. In 2003 we completed our dream by opening Clothes Pony together. We added Dandelion Toys a few years later and Urban Blossom a few years after that and have been having a blast ever since!

Becca and her husband, David, have two children, Jack and Isabel. She worked in the non-profit world with homeless families and youth. Jenny and her husband, Stuart have three grown children, Chris, Laura, and Charlotte. Jenny was a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala for three years, and is cofounder of the non-profit Trees Water & People.
