[au]workshop architects+urbanists create architecture and catalytic urban, civic and commercial places and projects that sustainably invigorate neighborhoods and cities. We have little interest in pursuing trendy, short-lived ideas and solutions: We strive to add character, dignity and design energy to each project and improve the greater context for the long run.

With architecture and master planning projects in Colorado, California, Hawaii and Asia, [au]workshop was founded by architects Randy Shortridge and Jason Kersley in 2013 after a combined 40 years of experience in a wide variety of typologies locally, nationally and internationally.

Our mission is: Help clients realize their visions, add long-term value by elegantly organizing uses, create great places and develop cost conscious design strategies. The firm recently designed and co- developed a mixed-use building called Confluence, Fort Collins where our office is now located.
