Blue Federal Credit Union serves nearly 80,000 members in Colorado and Wyoming communities, and around the world. We’re part of a nationwide CO-OP network of credit unions that gives our members access to 5,000 shared branch locations across the U.S.—on par with major banks—as well as 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs.

As a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative, we return company profits to our members and communities, rather than to outside investors. We genuinely exist to serve, and it’s an honor and a delight to have our actual job be Doing Good: helping people succeed financially and in life, and strengthening the communities where we work and live.

Blue formed in 2016, when Warren Federal Credit Union (based in Wyoming and chartered in 1951) and Community Financial Credit Union (based in Colorado and chartered in 1956) decided to join forces and create a stronger-together financial institution serving more of the Rocky Mountain Front Range.
