Isolated
With Jooyeon Chang, Piano, and Tiffany Blake, Soprano

This evening of music for bassoon features works inspired by desolate mountain peaks, religious chants, the vast emptiness of our solar system, the isolation of pandemic lockdowns, and the lost children of the Holocaust. CSU faculty artists Drs. Cayla Bellamy, Jooyeon Chang, and Tiffany Blake present a program of music made "alone but together," including selections by Adrienne Albert, Elizabeth Goode, Lori Laitman, and Lindsey Weihl, paired with the explosive Bassoon Concerto by Christopher Theofanidis.
