The Uncommon Woman
The University Symphony Orchestra presents a dynamic program that celebrates women's contributions to classical music inside and beyond CSU. The program, conducted by Dr. Rachel Waddell, opens with Joan Tower's Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman # 1; then you’ll get in the academic spirit with Johannes Brahms Academic Festival Overture. CSU faculty artist Margaret Miller, viola, joins the ensemble for Paul Hindemith's Der Schwanendreher, and Emilie Mayer's lyrical Symphony No. 2 closes the evening.
CONCERT PROGRAM GUIDES/PLAYBILLS are available in a digital format only and may be viewed by scanning the QR code at the venue entrance or can be viewed in advance through a link on the ticketing site.
