University Symphony Orchestra Concert
Stirrings, Airs, and Virtuosities
Join the CSU University Symphony under the baton of guest conductor Adam Torres for an evening of incredible music featuring the winner of CSU’s annual Concerto Competition, Peter Hansen, on clarinet, performing Bernhard Henrik Crusell’s Introduction, Theme and Variations on a Swedish Air for Clarinet and Orchestra, Op 12. The program also includes Franz Schubert’s Overture in Bb Major, D. 470, Nancy Galbraith’s Midnight Stirring, and Franz Joseph Haydn’s notable “Oxford Symphony” Symphony No. 92 in G Major, H. I:92.
