Our second concert of the 2023-24 season will feature movements Dan Forrest's ethereal and beautiful, LUX: The Dawn From On High. Once again, we will be collaborating with a professional chamber orchestra made up of fantastic instrumentalists from Northern Colorado. This is also one of the pieces that many of our singers will perform at Carnegie Hall this April with our Artistic Director on the podium. Rounding out the concert are several pieces by up and coming composers, Dale Trumbore, Jonathan Reid, and Zanaida Robles, as well as set of Mendelssohn "favorites" and a captivating work by John Muehleisen called Snow (The King's Trumpeter). We are excited to feature CSU trumpet professor, Stanley Curtis, on this piece.
