Guest Artist Concert: Nicholas Gledhill, Horn

Join us for a diverse horn recital featuring CSU alum Dr. Nicholas Gledhill, instructor of horn at Colorado Mesa University. Dr. Gledhill is joined by CSU faculty artists Dr. Jooyeon Chang, piano, and Dr. John McGuire, horn, on an exciting program exploring the works of Eugene Bozza, Elizabeth Raum, Cait Nishimura, James Naigus, and more.

A Colorado native passionate about expanding young musicians' minds, Dr. Nicholas Gledhill has extensive experience in the modern musical landscape. As a performer, he is co-principal horn of the Grand Junction Symphony and hornist of the Mesa Wind Quintet. He maintains teaching roles as a college professor and Middle School band director, encouraging artistry in young and collegiate musicians. Finally, he serves as a music administrator at Blue Lake Fine Arts camp, coordinating the summer programming while performing in the Festival Orchestra and Band. Dr. Gledhill attended CSU (M.M. 2017) before completing his studies at the University of Alabama (D.M.A. 2024). His doctoral research focused on the psychology of how musicianship develops.

CONCERT PROGRAM GUIDES/PLAYBILLS are available in a digital format only and may be viewed by scanning the QR code at the venue entrance or can be viewed in advance through a link on the ticketing site.
