Hailed by the International Trumpet Guild for her “sweet, singing sound” and “shimmering vibrato,” Dr. Chloe Swindler (b. 1995) thrives on blurring genre lines, and in addition to solo engagements, she is a chamber, orchestral, jazz, and studio musician. She recently performed with Harry Styles at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Lizzo at the BET Awards, and Vanessa Williams at the Colour of Music Festival. Dr. Swindler founded Trumpet Fundamentals, an innovative online trumpet studio that empowers trumpet players to elevate their technique and create personalized practice routines. She is trumpet faculty at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and an assistant professor in the Africana Studies Department at Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She holds a D.M.A. from UCLA, and a M.M. from the Yale School of Music.
