West Olive Street Alley

Designed in 2022 by Norris Design, and completed in 2024, the West Olive Street Alley runs parallel to S. College Avenue, between W. Olive Street and W. Magnolia Street.

Featuring a theme of “Connection”, an aluminum ribbon flows both overhead and in-ground through the alley, connecting one end of the alley to the other. The ribbon encourages visitors to “go with the flow” through the alley. At night, kinetic colored LED lights bring a warm glow to the north, midway, and southern overhead ribbon segments. With customizable programming, the LED colors can be changed to match the seasons, holidays, or special celebrations.
