Old Town Fort Collins To Host 4th Annual Art Week June 6-15

Fort Collins, COLO – May 22, 2025 – Art will spill into the streets of Old Town this June to celebrate its fourth annual Downtown Fort Collins Art Week, a 10-day showcase of creativity, culture and community. From June 6 to 15, locals and visitors are invited to experience the city’s vibrant art scene through hands-on workshops, live performances, self-guided tours and a miniature art scavenger hunt.
The celebration begins with the Downtown Fort Collins First Friday Art Walk™ on June 6, featuring 30 participating businesses and pop-up art activations featuring interactive art stations, dance, and more. Throughout the week, free, artist-led workshops will be held at Petrichor Collective Studios, the Downtown Visitor Information Center and the Museum of Art | Fort Collins. While all workshops are free, advance registration is required and space is limited.
A highlight of this year’s Art Week is Tiny Art Hide & Seek, where seven local artists have created miniature pieces of art to be hidden around Downtown. Clues will be shared on Instagram (@DowntownFoCo), and lucky finders can take their discoveries home.
“Downtown Fort Collins is a place where art is at your fingertips, whether you’re playing a Piano About Town, attending a live performance or enjoying a workshop during Art Week,” said Peggy Lyle, district director of the Downtown Fort Collins Creative District. “Creative energy flows through galleries, murals, theaters and businesses. Art Week celebrates the creativity that sets our downtown apart.”
Attendees can also pick up limited-edition collectible postcards designed by local artist Cynthia Danielle, available at participating Art Walk locations. For those looking to explore more, Downtown offers self-guided public art tours, including Sculptures in the Square, an Art Tour for Music Lovers, a Historic Walking Tour and the colorful Fort Collins Mural Project bike route.
Downtown Fort Collins Art Week is presented by the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority in partnership with community organizations including the Downtown Fort Collins Creative District, Petrichor Collective, Visit Fort Collins, Museum of Art | Fort Collins, City of Fort Collins Art in Public Places, Fort Collins Mural Project and Poudre Libraries.
