Bon Appétit Week, previously known as Restaurant Week, is a favored annual promotion that serves as a platform for more than 25 dining establishments in Downtown Fort Collins to showcase their culinary creativity. Placer.ai, a market intelligence and analytics tool, reports that over 332,000 people visit Downtown Fort Collins, spending an average of 145 minutes exploring the area during the ten-day promotion. Visitors can revel in the vibrant atmosphere while indulging in the delicious flavors of downtown’s local cuisine. The Bon Appétit Week promotion is planned strategically to enhance the dining experience during November, which is typically a slower month for downtown restaurants. It encourages locals and visitors to extend their stay downtown and enjoy delicious creations during Bon Appétit Week. The Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority (DDA) organizes this promotion to showcase local businesses' resilience, hard work, and creativity while bringing together the community to celebrate top-notch food and hospitality.

New and familiar restaurants have joined this year’s list of Bon Appétit Week participants, including Gaku Ramen, La Piadina Italian Flatbread Sandwiches, Tasty Harmony, and Old Town Churn.

Maggie Trees, General Manager of Gaku Ramen Fort Collins, expressed, “Gaku Ramen has chosen to participate in Bon Appétit Week to engage with the local community. As a recent addition to the restaurant scene in Fort Collins, we're excited to showcase our culinary offerings.” When asked what inspired the Chef’s choice for its Bon Appétit Week dish this year, Tree answered, “Gaku Ramen’s featured dish, Spicy Miso Karaage, is a fusion of our two most popular dishes: Miso Ramen and Karaage. Our Chef creatively combined both dishes to craft this unique, flavorful offering. Indulge in an extraordinary dining experience at Gaku Ramen!”

Celebrations during Bon Appétit Week will feature the Fort Collins Foodie Walk™ on Friday, November 17, from 5:00  – 8:00 pm. This monthly self-guided walking tour takes you through downtown Fort Collins' finest culinary shops on the third Friday of every month. You can expect to enjoy interactive showcases, seasonal flavors, and exciting tastes.

Don’t wait; make your reservations now.  Bon appétit!
