What is Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest?
This free, three-day music festival is co-produced by the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association (DBA) and Bohemian Nights LLC. Bohemian coordinates and pays for the artists and music production, offering the music as a gift to the community. The DBA coordinates the beverages, concessions and vendor booths. The festival features 80+ bands, seven stages of live entertainment, over 250 specialty craft and food booths, and two family-centered kids’ entertainment areas. The festival is the DBA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds from beverage sales and vendor fees going directly to support the non-profit organization’s mission to advance the vibrancy, vitality and prosperity of the downtown district.

When is the 2018 festival?

  • Friday, August 10th – 5:00pm-10:00pm
  • Saturday, August 11th – 10:00am-10:00pm
  • Sunday, August 12th – 10:00am-7:00pm

Where is the festival?
Please see the attached map for exact footprint, but the festival takes place in Downtown Fort Collins on the following streets: Linden St., Mountain Ave., Walnut St., Peterson St., E. Oak St., Mathews St., Olive Street. Live music and performance stages are also placed in Old Town Square and within Library Park.

Where are the musical performances? Where is the sound coming from?
There are 7 performance stages in the festival permitted by the City of Fort Collins. All areas must abide by local ordinances regarding noise and sound. Friday features music until 10:00 pm; Saturday features music until 10:00 pm; Sunday features music until 7:00 pm. Please see the attached festival map for precise stage locations.

What should I expect during clean-up when the festival ends?
Although the festival concludes at 7:00 pm sharp on Sunday, there will be noise, trucks, heavy machinery and movement into the late evening hours; please note that the deconstruction of the stage and sunshade structures will continue through Monday, August 14th. Staff aims to minimize disruption as much as possible and the festival will be cleaned up in entirety by 4am on Tuesday, August 15th.

My car was towed. Where is it?
Towed cars will be relocated to Odell Brewing Company north parking lot, directly behind the brewery at 800 E. Lincoln Street. Simply pick-up your car. A special thanks to festival sponsor Odell this year for the use of their lot; as a result, owners will not have to pay $200+ recovery fee to retrieve their vehicles (but instead, perhaps you may consider going inside the brewery and making a purchase!).
