Laugh. Learn. A lot.

"The Gadfly" is a one-of-a-kind stand-up philosophy experience for thoughtful people who love to laugh, especially as we grapple with the complex conditions of our existence.

Imagine if Socrates stumbled into the Speak Cheesy and told funny stories with compelling insights that really make you think.

It’s pretty much exactly that, except instead of Socrates, you’ll laugh and learn with local meta philosophical performance artist and self-described Philosopher with the People, Dr. Cori Wong (who you may recognize from “For the Love of Strangers,” another monthly show of a different sort.)

Every Fourth Sunday in September, October, and November, dive into a Very Special Stand-Up Philosophy Series on Knowledge, Ethics, and Power. Happy Hour starts at 5:00pm; show starts at 5:30pm:

September (9/28): “I Know, Right?!?”
October (10/26): “Oh…Ethics Got Good.”
November (11/23): “More Power, Please!”
