For the month of September, the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is offering drastically reduced membership fees for the first year for new members. The special rates are $20 for an individual (regularly $45), $30 for a family (regularly $65), $10 for an individual senior (regularly $35), $20 for a senior couple (regularly $45), and $5 for a student (regularly $20). Starting Sept. 1 and throughout the month, the reduced memberships can be purchased on the Museum’s website at globalvillagemuseum.org. Members enjoy free admission to exhibits for a full year, a 10% discount on gift shop purchases, and invitations to Member-Only Socials and special events. New members will also receive an invitation to the Museum’s Member Appreciation Afternoon on Sunday, Oct. 13. The Global Village Museum is located at 200 West Mountain Avenue, and Museum hours are 11 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
