For the month of September, the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is offering reduced membership fees for the first year. The special rates are $20 for an individual (regularly $45), $30 for a family (regularly $65), $10 for an individual senior (regularly $35), $20 for a senior couple (regularly $45), and $5 for a student (regularly $20). Starting Sept. 1 and throughout the month, the reduced memberships can be purchased on the Museum’s website at globalvillagemuseum.org. Members enjoy free admission to exhibits for a full year and a 10% discount on gift shop purchases. Members also receive newsletter information about special programs as well as invitations to Members-only events. New members will receive an invitation to the Museum’s Member Appreciation Afternoon on Sunday, Oct. 1. The Global Village Museum has four galleries, an international music room, handmade Tibetan dolls in the Losel Doll House, and a gnome scavenger hunt for children.
