Local author Kiri Saftler will share her book, Making Amends Makes Friends. Following the reading, Kiri will facilitate a peace circle where participants pass a "talking piece," speak and listen from the heart to each other.
KIRI Saftler is a mother, grandmother, friend, gardener, organizer, artist and communitarian. She is a trained Circle Keeper and Facilitator in The Way of Council, Circles Of Ten, restorative practice for schools, restorative justice, and Peacekeeper circles. Since 2003 she has facilitated groups of all ages and sizes in a variety of settings including homes, corporations, schools and churches.
This program is designed for elementary and middle school aged kids and an accompanying adult. Please register child and accompanying adult separately.
