Join Mineral Roots Nursery and Center for Soil Studies for an engaging and hands-on medicinal agroecology workshop.


Participants will get hands-on practice with preparing seeds for planting such as different stratification techniques, pre-season medicinal garden planning activities, and take home plants of course!


This workshop will focus on:
Soil Health considerations in the arid west
Medicinal Plants as soil builders
Medicinal Plants as builders of biodiverse habitats


Led by Amy Kousch of Mineral Roots Nursery and Center for Soil Studies

Mineral Roots Nursery and Center for Soil Studies is committed to rebuilding the green-water cycle, restoring biodiversity, above and below soil, and supporting the health and wellness of our fellow human neighbors.


Owner and head grower Amy comes from farm folk in the northeast and has been growing in the arid, west for a decade. Amy is a former CSA vegetable farmer and is currently a PhD student in plant sciences. Amy is devoted to providing the freshest, most potent plant medicine for community members and spends her days building soil, teaching, starting seeds, researching, and learning. It is an honor to tend to medicine.
