Providing Hope, Learning Life Lessons in Oaxaca, Mexico will be presented from 6-7:30 pm Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Jody Snow, a long-time Spanish teacher at Fort Collins High School, will recount her sponsorship of an Oaxacan student as well as her work with Centro de Esperanza Infantíl, a nonprofit organization that funds educational expenses and provides supplemental services for students living in poverty in Oaxaca. The presentation is in conjunction with the Museum’s Main Gallery exhibit, Street Vistas: Oaxaca's Día de los Muertos. Tickets for the presentation are $5 per person, and reservations are requested at globalvillagemuseum.org. The Global Village Museum is located at 200 West Mountain Avenue, and Museum hours are 11 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
