Learn the basics of pelvic floor health, including common dysfunctions and how the pelvic floor works with the breath. This introductory class will include simple guided practices to explore pelvic floor awareness, relaxation and contraction. Participants will receive a take home card with 10 helpful pelvic floor tips and a guide to common signs that pelvic floor physical therapy may be helpful.
Taught by Ann Schofield, PT, Pelvic Health Certified Specialist
Ann Schofield is a licensed physical therapist with advanced certification in pelvic health PT. She is passionate about making pelvic health education approachable and helping people better understand and connect with this often overlooked part of the body. Through education and greater body awareness, she helps people feel more confident in supporting their pelvic health and empowered to seek help when they need it. Ann provides pelvic health physical therapy to students at Colorado State University and also sees clients through her private practice Mind & Boudica.
