"Paths Adjacent" is a duo exhibition featuring works by Dark Noodle Art and CC Stanhill. This exhibition celebrates our relationship with the line, featuring methods from both artists who deliver overall vibrancy, a focus to detail, and a care of the line that demonstrates trust, intimacy, and consistency.
Each artist confidently moves along curves with ease and resides within the contrast understanding the beauty that can be found in the juxtaposed weaving of hues and edges.
Taryn Bushey (of Dark Noodle Art) shares, "My show is really a satire on monotony. Repetitive and perseverative actions of drawing simple lines result in complex patterns and designs. The process allows for escape and imperfection, and in fact, encourages those things. It's a catalyst for submission into the mundane and coming out the other side with a creation of impulse. There is a celebration of contrast, the way it fits together to form a whole, to provide a balance and a system of opposites which rely on each other."
Artists' bios:
Taryn Bushey (she/her) is the creator behind Dark Noodle Art. Taryn is a self-taught artist specializing in abstract and modern line art.

CC Stanhill (they/them) is an illustrator, animator, and inveterate punslinger living in Fort Collins. Their work explores queer themes of fluidity, freedom and connection; but mostly it's about being colossally capricious. They were once described by a prominent person as "quite a lucid sort of fellow."
