MUSEUM OF ART | FORT COLLINS (MoA) will present the exhibition Art & Access: New Directions in Prints and Multiples from Friday, October 2, 2026, through January 3, 2027. The exhibition features internationally acclaimed artists such as Banksy, Judy Chicago, Mickalene Thomas, Rachel Whiteread, Kehinde Wiley and many others.
Spanning a period from 1967 to 2026, this exhibition explores ways in which artists around the world have worked to make their vital creations accessible to broader audiences through prints and multiples. All included artworks are on loan from area private collections.
Art & Access: New Directions in Prints and Multiples is curated by Dr. Lynn Boland and Katherine McQueen. It was organized and scheduled by the museum last year, before Boland took the role of Executive Director at MoA. It originates from a desire to counter a common misperception that contemporary art is all wildly expensive, only available in the six- and seven-figure ranges and only for the ultra rich. While affordability is relative, with most of the original purchase prices for artworks in the exhibition ranging between $25 and $2,500, it demonstrates the high caliber of art that can be obtained by a wide range of art lovers.
As part of the MoA for All initiative, for the duration of the show, the museum will offer free admission every Sunday, in addition to its regular free admission during First Friday Art Walk.
