Jenine Abarbanel is a seasoned bluegrass bass player, having played for over 15 years with multiple bands both in New Zealand, where she currently lives, and here in Colorado. Her strong vocals have been compared to Natalie Merchant. A couple years ago she picked up the guitar and started playing solo shows on the internet. This will be her first solo show in the real world, so anything could happen. Jenine plays genre-bending folk music, sometimes irreverent, sometimes serious, but always with emotion that will draw the listener in.
