Sharpen your skill set in this class that’s designed to show you the ins-and-outs of classic knife skills.
Building knife skills is the fastest way to speed up meal prep and have fun in the kitchen!
What We’re Cooking and Learning:
We’ll be making steak fajitas with Mexican fried potatoes, guacamole, and pico de gallo using all of the veggies we practice with in class!
You’ll Learn Different Cuts and Techniques:
- Mince, dice, chop, matchsticks, coins, oblique, chiffonade, etc.
- Working with a variety of vegetable sizes and shapes
- Hand positioning and knife movement
- Use of Chef’s (French) knife, paring knife and knife steel
- Accuracy, consistency and speed
