In some European traditions, this time of year marked the time of Yule celebrations and the Winter Solstice. This time is honored by the importance in acknowledging the darkness and seeds we plant in the depth of winter, as we simultaneously celebrate the onset of the light returning, and the expansion of longer days. One activity tied to Yule celebrations is the creation of Yuletide cleansing wands. These wands usually contain fragrant evergreen branches, dried citrus, and cinnamon among other ingredients. Join me for this holiday gift making class to create your own Yule Wand for the season to celebrate in your home or make as a gift!
