In honor of Veterans Day on Saturday, Nov. 11, veterans will enjoy free admission to the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures from 11 am to 5 pm. In the Main Gallery, Australia and New Zealand: Miles Apart explores the rich cultures, histories, and arts of the two countries. The Global Village Museum has four galleries, an international music room, handmade Tibetan dolls in the Losel Doll House, and a gnome scavenger hunt for children. The Museum is located at 200 West Mountain Avenue, and Museum hours are 11 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, visit globalvillagemuseum.org or call 970-221-4600.
