Lorna’s Swingset, Colorado’s popular gypsy jazz band, will perform from 6-7:30 pm Friday, August 2, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. The Museum is open from 5-8 pm with free admission for First Friday Art Walk. The Museum has four galleries, a music room featuring international instruments, the Losel Doll House showcasing Tibetan dolls and costumes handmade by Buddhist monks, and a gnome treasure hunt for youth. In the Museum’s Main Gallery, One World, One Family honors indigenous peoples around the world and their cultures. The Global Village Museum is located at 200 West Mountain Avenue, and Museum hours are 11 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
