Recovery Cards Project has designed greeting cards to celebrate recovery, the efforts of those working to achieve it, and the people who support and encourage them every day. All cards are free to Colorado residents.
Encouragement Delivered is a card-writing activity created by Recovery Cards Project, where strangers write messages of support and encouragement and drop them in the dedicated mailbox for distribution to someone in need. Heartfelt notes written by community members inspire hope and remind others they are not alone in their journey.
Recovery Cards Project is partnering with Poudre Libraries to host Recovery Displays at each location during the month of May, culminating with a card signing event on June 2nd at Council Tree Library. The Recovery Cards Project card display will be available at the Old Town Library from May 17–May 23. Come sign a card for a stranger, and take a few home for you to share with your loved ones! Behavioral health resources for mental health and substance use disorder will also be available.
This event is produced by an outside organization and is unaffiliated with the Downtown Development Authority. The DDA website serves as a marketing outlet for events and promotions occurring inside the Downtown boundary. For questions regarding the event, please contact the event producer.
