The Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is proud to partner with the Turkish American Cultural Society of Colorado (TACSCO) for an unforgettable evening of culture, compassion, and community on Thursday, July 17 at 6 pm!
This special program will spotlight TACSCO’s ongoing earthquake relief initiative supporting 48 children who lost one or both parents in the devastating February 2023 earthquakes that struck southeastern Turkey. Attendees will learn how this grassroots effort is helping children rebuild their lives by providing not only basic needs, but also emotional support, educational resources, and a renewed sense of hope.
The evening will also serve as a preview of TACSCO’s Annual Turkish Festival & Fundraiser, coming to Fort Collins in August. Guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration behind the festival, learn how it supports earthquake relief efforts, and hear personal stories that connect Turkish cultural traditions with community healing.
Light Turkish appetizers and sweets will be served as part of this warm and welcoming evening. Join us in honoring resilience, celebrating culture, and learning how your presence can make a lasting impact. Admission is $10/person.
