About your instructor: Cortney Kern is the founder of Mother Gardener. Her love for nature was ignited during her childhood days spent freely exploring the woods behind her grandmother's house, creating lasting memories of chasing wild blueberries and building rafts in a small pond. Witnessing the transformation of those once sprawling woods into housing developments fueled her passion for environmental action. This drive led her to diverse experiences, from working in a plant nursery as a teen to serving in the Peace Corps in Morocco. Mother Gardener is born from my belief that merely planting a garden is not enough; we must see ourselves mirrored in nature to find the passion to protect it. As an eco-spiritual practitioner and garden consultant, her mission is to guide you on a transformative journey of becoming guardians of the earth. Together, through services such as garden consulting, native planting design, edible landscaping, and kitchen garden installations, we will deepen our connection with the natural world and create a sustainable future. Join along with Mother Gardener, where we grow food, nurture the earth, and embark on an empowering journey towards eco-spiritual connection. Learn more at www.mothergardener.com
