Join the Colorado Cello Intensive for a free outdoor concert in the heart of Old Town Square! The Colorado
Cello Intensive is a premier summer festival that brings together talented young cellists from across the
United States to study with an internationally acclaimed faculty from around the world. Throughout the
week, students immerse themselves in lessons, masterclasses, chamber music, and cello orchestra while
building lasting friendships through a shared passion for music.
This special community concert showcases the incredible work accomplished during the festival. Enjoy an
exciting variety of musical styles performed by students and faculty, featuring everything from intimate
duos and quartets to a full cello orchestra. Whether you’re a lifelong classical music lover or simply
looking for a wonderful summer evening in Fort Collins, we invite you to bring a chair or blanket, relax, and
experience the rich, expressive sound of an ensemble made entirely of cellos.
