Old Firehouse is delighted to host Julie Rowan-Zoch, Brooke Boynton-Hughes and Annie Herzig as they sign some of their children's books! Brooke will be debuting her latest release, His Fairtytale Life, while Annie will be singing copies of her book, Wonder & Awe. Julie will be singing all of her books! All three authors will be in store on April 12th, from 11:00AM-2:00PM and available to chat and personalize any purchases! Books can be purchased before or during the event, as well as online! Unfortunately we do not ship internationally.

We hope to see you there!

About Julie Rowan-Zoch:

Julie Rowan-Zoch is a reformed graphic designer, concocting and sculpting story ideas and illustrations – every day. I’ve been called opinionated (I like to share) and hyper (ready for anything), and a Pollyanna (isn’t that nice?).

About Brooke Boynton-Hughes:

Brooke Boynton-Hughes is the illustrator and author of BRAVE MOLLY, HEART STRING, and the forthcoming IF I HAD A BOAT, and the illustrator of several other books for children including COAT OF MANY COLORS by Dolly Parton, HIS FAIRY TALE LIFE by Jane Yolen, HENRY WANTS MORE! by Linda Ashman, and WHERE’S MY TURTLE? by Barbara Bottner. Brooke is the recipient of two portfolio honor awards from the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, as well as the recipient of the SCBWI Don Freeman Memorial grant and the SCBWI Mentorship Award. Her work has also appeared in the Society of Illustrators Original Art Show. Brooke lives in Colorado with her husband and three children and creates her illustrations using watercolor, pen & ink, graphite and colored pencil.

About Annie Herzig:

My name is Annie Herzig, and I am an illustrator, author, and all-around creative based out of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. After departing the corporate foodie world as a designer and art director in 2014, I returned to my first loves of illustration and storytelling. I work primarily with traditional media, often utilizing watercolor, gouache, graphite, and colored pencil on the page, along with a pop of digital magic once in awhile.
