Betty La Poderosa is a reader’s theatre presentation directed by Jesús Castro González of Teatro Latino, with original music by Isabella Knott.

The program is presented in conjunction with We Were Never Meant to Disappear, the solo exhibition by artist Liz Ortiz. Liz will lead a guided gallery walkthrough, sharing her journey as an artist and the stories behind selected pieces across printmaking, drawing, painting, and analog photography. Themes include cultural invisibility, memory, and Indigenous Latina identity.
