Daniel Wilkerson
Business Support Coordinator

About Daniel
Daniel's journey to this role has been anything but linear - shaped by years of co-owning craft beer spots and managing multi-location coffee shops in Fort Collins, overseeing IT projects for major healthcare clients, and engaging in community development work as far away as Bolivia. Along the way, he's picked up both a global perspective and a deep appreciation for the power of local connection.
How does being part of this community shape the way you approach your role?
“Living and working in Fort Collins makes the work feel personal. These aren’t just businesses - they’re neighbors, friends, and familiar faces. I’ve learned that no matter the industry or location, community connection is what drives real impact. I bring that perspective to this role every day, with a sense of responsibility to help downtown thrive while keeping its character intact.”
One of my favorite local businesses or hidden gems downtown is...
“The Crown Pub. It’s consistently solid, the service is always great, and there’s just something about the cozy atmosphere that feels like home. Maybe it’s the years I spent in the local food and beverage world, but I’ve got a soft spot for businesses that do the little things right and stick to their roots. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, run into a familiar face, and feel connected to what makes Downtown Fort Collins special - especially if I've parked my '68 Beetle out front and grabbed my favorite spot."
