The Lagoon Summer Concert Series, now in its 24th year, is a community tradition enjoyed by northern Colorado music lovers of all ages. The free concert series, produced by Mantooth Marketing Company, is excited to kick off the 2017 season on the west lawn of Colorado State University’s Lory Student Center on June 14 at 6:30 p.m.
The eight-week Lagoon Summer Concert Series will feature a variety of music styles, including country, reggae, folk, rock and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for an enjoyable evening of free music. Local food trucks will be present each week for the convenience of concert goers. Residents should be cautioned that there is no parking allowed on Plum Drive.
July 19: Mojomama
Mojomama is fueled by the power vocals of Jessica Rowand and combines funk, rock and soul influences from Aretha Franklin to Steely Dan and Susan Tedeschi, leaving audiences with a new yet familiar sound. Every Mojomama performance excites the crowd with their hip-shaking grooves and undeniable melodies.
