This FREE, family-oriented and non-alcoholic, arts-based celebration attracts an all-ages audience to 30+ performances at 7 venues throughout Downtown!
Children and families are invited to venture through the illuminated streets of Old Town bouncing from venue to venue to enjoy mind-boggling magic shows, high-flying acrobatic performances, international dance routines, hilarious comedy acts and plenty more! This completely FREE event will feature festive face painters, a ‘bounceland’ of giant inflatables, and a fireworks display presented by UCHealth to cap off the night at 9:30pm!

Prepare to be amazed as Bryan Circus Knight mixes comedy within his dazzling spectacle of danger. Juggling, backflips, and pole acrobatics are just some of the amazing feats you will see during a Bryan Circus Knight performance.
Canyon Concert Ballet’s Youth Ensemble brings to you ten different dance pieces. Enjoy these dance pieces as they illustrate some of the hardships as well as triumphs we all experience through life as adolescents.
Let the music of just the human voice lift your spirit! The 7-voice a cappella vocal ensemble will sing in the new with classics, doo-wop and contemporary pop music.
“Oz”: Follow the yellow brick road and help Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion get to the Wizard of Oz. Audience participation play for all ages.
Emma Marie is an up in coming 13 year old singer-song writer from Northern Colorado.

Get ready to sing, shake and shimmy with House of Joy. They are going to take you on a journey around the world and bring you back home to Colorado with an old fashioned hoe down.

Old Town Puppet Company
An action packed hand puppet show that will be performing a fan favorite, Little Red Riding Hood, accompanied with three songs and jokes. Come out and enjoy some fun for the whole family.
The Presto-Digitators will be performing extraordinary feats of magic, illusions, and legerdemain!
Throughout the night prepared to be entertained by Spectra Circus Entertainment’s roaming circus acts, which include a hula hooper and a stilted character!

Smilen Faces Face Painting has been creating happy faces for more than 25 years; twelve of which have been in Fort Collins. We are experienced and lightning fast face painters that will make any occasion fun.

Does it cost anything?
This event is FREE! First Night Fort Collins is open to the public thanks to our generous supporters and sponsors. Please keep in mind that all show capacities are limited and seating will be available on a FIRST- COME, FIRST-SERVED basis. Please create a backup plan in the event a venue is at capacity.
What happens if I miss the first performance or capacity is full?
All performances occur AT LEAST twice over the course of the night. If you miss a performance or if show capacity is filled, come back later or stick around until the current show ends.
Is this a non-alcoholic event?
Yes! This is a family-friendly and non-alcoholic event.
Will there be a firework display?
Yes! There will be a firework display visible from Civic Center Park. The Park is located just South of the Laporte Ave. & Howes St. intersection. It will not be held in Old Town Square as in previous years. Please make your way to the park after the last performance to see the firework show at 9:30pm.
Transportation & Parking
We anticipate New Year’s Eve to be a busy evening Downtown. Please plan accordingly and park in 3 available parking structures/lots. The two parking garages will be FREE all day on Sunday, December 31st.
Don’t feel like driving? Hitch a ride on the Max Bus Rapid Transit Service. This bus picks up along Mason St. between Harmony Rd. and Downtown. Ride the MAX for $1.25 per person each way. 17 & under ride free! Please visit the Max website at www.ridetransfort.com/max to see all stops and times.
Take a ride on the First Night Shuttle! There will be 3 First Night Shuttles running along the blue course below stopping at stops indicated by orange circles. The Shuttles will run every 3-5 minutes.
