More Parade Details:
The parade is a FREE event that is open to all ages, beginning at 10:00am and beloved by the entire community. This event has been held in the historic district of downtown Fort Collins for two decades. Volunteers from the community help with making sure the parade comes together, including being marshals for the parade route, judges, grand marshals, and more. The crowd of thousands will line the streets of the parade route, cheer on their friends and favorite entries, and enjoy the atmosphere. The entries are required to represent the St. Patrick’s Day theme and will be judged by a community panel to determine who wins 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards.
The parade route begins on Walnut Street, turns south on College Ave, and travels through Downtown Fort Collins. The majority of the crowds are watching the parade from College Ave, but there are many who watch from the residential streets. The parade continues south on College, turns east on Magnolia St, and turns north on Remington for the last leg of the parade.
