Description

Open Up to Outside!  We live, love, play, learn and explore in our precious Colorado so let’s get some great ideas of how to make this lifestyle a family affair.

Registration required. We live, love, play, learn and explore in our precious Colorado so let’s get some great ideas of how to make this lifestyle a family affair. For the first 45 minutes, Librarian Amy and volunteers will tell stories and do a craft with your child while parents enjoy a presentation by Alicia Goddard, Certified Interpretive Guide and Environmental Educator. After that presentation families come together to create crafts, put together a go-to hiking bag including a water bottle and an emergency poncho donated by JAX Outdoor Gear, and generate ideas for outdoor fun! Geared towards families with preK-5th grade children. Registration is limited to the supplies we have for 30 FAMILIES to have one bag per family.
