General Information: The mission of the Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art is to engage our community in cultural experiences that promote the creation and appreciation of contemporary art. To offer our audiences the best possible art experiences, FCMOCA presents a diverse series of exhibitions, community
events, publications and educational programs. Our goal is to educate a broad audience about contemporary art and promote awareness and appreciation of the artistic accomplishments of local, regional and national artists.
The Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art began operations in December, 1990 as the One West Contemporary Art Center. It held its first exhibition in January, 1991. The museum is housed in the old Post Office building in Old Town Fort Collins.
