 Bohemian Nights at
NewWestFest 2009
Fort Collins’ Largest Community Festival!
August 14, 15, 16, 2009
 
Approximately 136 years ago Fort Collins was established along the banks of the Cache la Poudre River and this August the community will celebrate this birthday with Northern Colorado’s largest festival, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest will be held August 14, 15 & 16, 2009 and is located in Historic Old Town Fort Collins. Over 120,000 people will attend this celebration in Downtown Fort Collins. In its 21st year this FREE weekend showcases over 300 arts, crafts and food booths, Kids' World, Kids’ Music Adventure, a children’s carnival, two beer gardens, and seven stages of continuous entertainment highlighting Northern Colorado and the Front Range’s wonderfully talented artists. 

The festival is proud to host Bohemian Nights music lineup providing music all weekend long with over 50 Colorado bands and 2 national headliners. The three-day Bohemian Nights music program is free to the public and runs August 14 -16. Music activities kick off Friday night at 7 p.m. in Old Town Square with a concert by roots rock band 3 Twins, all band members of Fort Collins’ own local favorite, The Subdudes.
 
 

  
  
SATURDAY: MELISSA ETHERIDGE: Live and Alone
 
Academy Award and two-time Grammy® Award winner Melissa Etheridge will headline the Mountain Avenue main stage at 8:30pm on Saturday night, August 15.

 

 
  
SUNDAY: OZOMATLI  
 
Latin Grammy®, two-time Billboard Latin, and two-time Grammy® Award winner Ozomatli will headline the Mountain Avenue main stage at 4:30pm on Sunday afternoon, August 16.
 
Check out the over 80 performances and 7 stages of continuous entertainment throughout the festival weekend!  Including great Dance Showcase performances & Kids’ performances. Official program with entertainment lineups, maps & festival details will be available in August and at the festival info booths!
  
*Festival Hours & Details for Attendees*

                                Friday: Kick off concert Friday night 7-9:00pm in Old Town Square
                                Saturday: 10:00am-7:00pm with evening concerts until 10:00pm 
                                Sunday: 10:00am-6:00pm.  
  • We ask people to leave their pets at home.  No dogs are allowed in the festival. 
  • Wear sunscreen, shade is a commodity at the festival! 
  • Carpool! Parking is available along the surrounding streets & in both parking garages. 
  • Garages are $2/all day Saturday and FREE on Sunday
  • Help the festival be GREEN - Please help us in this effort by recycling & composting!
