The Men’s, Women’s, and University Choruses join together for an evening of choral music that reflects
a wide range of styles, eras, and genres. The Men’s Chorus presents a set by Russian composers along
with music that harkens back to the American Civil War. The University Chorus set includes secular
works from a variety of time periods and regions, featuring the complete collection of Animal Crackers
by Eric Whitacre, poems by Ogden Nash. The Women’s Chorus also performs both secular and sacred
works spanning the centuries, including György Orbán’s “Sanctus Benedictus” from Mass No. 6.
