Old Town Irish Party hosted by Wilbur's Total Beverage Details:

After the parade, join us in Old Town Square for the Old Town Irish Party hosted by Wilbur's Total Beverage! The Irish Party will feature a “green beer garden” with beer from Odell Brewing and High Country Beverage, plus wine from Wilbur's Total Beverage, as well as food offerings from Sammy’s Fried Cheese Curds and Mile High Lobster Shack. The Old Town Irish Party is free to attend and will feature live performances on the Old Town Square Stage.

Special Event Notice

When does the parade begin and end?

The Parade begins at 10:00am sharp and will conclude at approximately 12:30pm.

What is the parade route?

The parade starts at Mountain Ave. and College Ave., and will continue South on College Ave., and will head East on Magnolia St. to end at Mathews St. and Magnolia St. Please see the map for more route details.

Why is the parade route different?

The parade route is different this year due to some recent City of Fort Collins construction on Walnut St. Please refer to the map for route changes. The parade start is now located at Mountain Ave. and College Ave., not on Walnut St. as in past years.

Where can I view the parade?

Please see the map for good viewing areas. For safety purposes, please stay behind the parade boundaries that will be set in place.

Where can I park?

Please park in the designated parking areas. There will be parking available in the Old Town Parking Structure, Civic Center Parking Structure, Old Firehouse Alley Parking Structure, Oak Street Surface Lot, and the Mulberry Max Parking Structure. For more details, see the map below.

Is this event ADA accessible?

Yes, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is ADA accessible and takes place on City streets.

Are there restrooms at this event?

Public restrooms are located near Oak St. and College Ave., and Old Town Square.

Are there street closures?

Yes, there will be street closures for the parade. Street closures will coincide with the staging areas, and parade route. Please pay attention to road closed signs the day of. Note that parking in the road closures is not allowed, and your car will be towed.

When do the street closures conclude?

The streets will close at 4am on March 17th, and will reopen between 12:00pm-1:00pm following the parade.

Safety Precautions

Please be cautious of floats loading in on Mountain Ave. There will be safety rope outlining the parade route to keep spectators a safe distance from the floats. Do not enter parade route to retrieve candy, or other handouts. Float participants will hand out the goods to keep spectators safe. Always be aware of your surroundings and be aware of moving vehicles. There will be Fort Collins Police Services on site, as well as security officers. However, if you have an emergency, please call 911.

My car was towed, where do I retrieve it?

If your car was towed, please call Choice Towing at (970) 482-0159. You will be responsible for all associated costs.

What beverages are being served?

Green Coors Light, Coors Banquet, Guinness Draught, Odell Rupture, Odell 90 Shilling, and select red and white wine will be available for purchase with cash or credit.

Is there a gluten-free beverage option?

Select red and white wine will be available as a gluten-free option.

Is this event ADA accessible?

The Old Town Irish Party is ADA accessible. ADA restrooms will be located in Old Town Square. If you are in need of a Sign Language Interpreter, you must contact the Downtown Business Association at least 72 hours prior to the event. To request an interpreter, please call the DBA office at (970) 484-6500.

What food options are available?

Sammy’s Fried Cheese Curds and Mile High Lobster Shack will provide small-bite food offerings. If you are looking for a larger meal, visit our nearby Downtown Fort Collins restaurants.

Are there restrooms at this event?

Public restrooms will be located in Old Town Square.

When does the music and beverage service begin at the Old Town Irish Party?

Beverage service will begin in Old Town Square at 11:00am, with last call happening at 3:45pm, and service ending at 4:00pm sharp. Music will begin on the Old Town Square Stage at 11:15am and will end at 3:30pm.
