Upcoming Festivals

The Downtown Business Association is pleased to announce the Sounds on the Square concert series, taking place Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6PM to 8PM, from July 1 through August 12.  The free concerts will take place on the Old Town Square Stage.  The series showcases local and regional bands and aims to provide a variety of music genres that people of all ages can enjoy.  Bring your friends and family down and enjoy the summer sounds of live music filling Old Town Square.  Downtown restaurants patios are the perfect will be offering food and drink during the shows.  All concerts are free to the public.

Thursday, July 1^st:       Old Town Lowdowns

are Fort Collins’ newest rock trio, performing original southern rock and blues jams.        

 

Tuesday, July 6^th:         Aakash Mittal Quartet is a Fort Collins original – bringing jazz fusion to life by mixing Indian influences among others with jazz.   

Thursday, July 8^th:       Kevin Karrick & Friends get the Jazz Experience weekend off to an early start with their cool jazz, bop and fusion.       

Tuesday, July 13^th:       Halden Wofford & the Hi-Beams bring their boot stompin’ honky-tonk to the square for an energetic hoedown.         

Thursday, July 15^th:     Blue Grama is a hot new bluegrass band that blends the sound of the Appalachian hills with the high plains of the Rockies.   

Tuesday, July 20^th:       Glove Trucker plays rambunctious and rowdy outlaw country music.   

Thursday, July 22^nd:    DubSkin is a six piece reggae band that has toured extensively, sharing the stage with many reggae legends.             

Tuesday, July 27^th:       Wonder Voice is a five member group that amazes audiences with their unique                                                 A cappella sound.          

Thursday, July 29^th:     Bop Skizzum delivers the funk in the form of a 7-person band led by Andy from the Flobots.

Tuesday, August 10^th:    The Grippe blends funk, soul, jazz, and blues to create their own mix of groovy music.     

Thursday, August 12^th:  Kinetixare a festival favorite, performing rock jams to crowds all across the country.
