 Fort Collins’ Largest Community Festival!
 
August 20, 21, 22, 2010
 
Approximately 137 years ago Fort Collins was established along the banks of the Cache la Poudre River and this August the community will celebrate this birthday with Northern Colorado’s largest festival, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. The 2010 festival will be held August 21 & 22 in Historic Downtown Fort Collins with a special Friday night music kickoff to the weekend. In its 22nd year this FREE weekend showcases over 300 arts, crafts and food booths, Kids’ Area, a children's carnival, two beer gardens, and eight stages of continuous entertainment highlighting Northern Colorado and the Front Range’s wonderfully talented artists. 
  
The festival is proud to host Bohemian Nights music lineup providing music all weekend long, in 2010 the lineup will feature over 60 Colorado bands performing on six stages in Old Town Fort Collins as part of the 22nd annual NewWestFest celebration. Starting with a kick-­‐off concert at 6:00p.m. on Friday night with music performances all day Saturday from 11:00a.m. to 10:00p.m. and Sunday from 11:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., the three day Bohemian Nights music program is free to the public and runs August 20-22.
  
This year’s music headliner lineup is a diverse offering of genres, energy and performance styles.  The Colorado and nationally acclaimed, Alternative Rock band, The Flobots will perform Friday, August 20 on the Linden Street Stage.  Headlining Saturday, August 21, on the Mountain Avenue main stage will be Pop/R&B icons Earth, Wind & Fire, while The Legendary Earl Scruggs & Friends will close the weekend on the Mountain Avenue main stage Sunday, August 22 with a Bluegrass performance that a true fan should not miss. Beet Street presents a new element for Bohemian Nights At NewWestFest that captures the unique talents of our arts and culture community in a fun, free and accessible experience. 
 Under beautiful shade sails, amidst cooling plants, you’ll be soothed by the melodies at the Bohemian Nights Acoustic Stage while enjoying gourmet food, craft beers and wine and spirits.  Local actors, dancers, musicians and artists will perform short, free family friendly performances in a comfortable, garden setting. Check out the over 80 performances and 9 stages of continuous entertainment throughout the festival weekend!  Including great dance showcase performances & Kids’ Area Stage performances. *Festival Hours & Details for Attendees*
                                Friday: Kick off concert Friday night 6-10:00pm on Linden St.
                                Saturday: 10:00am-7:00pm with evening concerts until 10:00pm 
                                Sunday: 10:00am-7:00pm.  
  • We ask people to leave their pets at home.  NO PETS are allowed in the festival. 
  • Wear sunscreen, shade is a commodity at the festival! 
  • Carpool! Parking is available along the surrounding streets & in both parking garages. 
  • Garages are $5/all day Saturday and FREE on Sunday
  • Help the festival be GREEN - Please help us in this effort by recycling & composting!
